05/12/05 I have recently taken charge of a Euc log from The Didgeridoo Place to make into a stick. The wood itself was of excelent quality and Matt himself was very accomidating when it came to giving advice over the phone.
So if you are on a budget and want to give making your own stick a go then GO FOR IT its very rewarding. Rich Stockdale, UK |
09/11/05 I've been playing the didgeridoo for over 14 years and seen some good and bad suppliers of didgeridoos. The Didgeridoo Place is, without question, the best place to purchase a new didg, wether you are a complete begginer, or an advanced player looking for that 'special' didg.
I had a wonderful trip up to the Didgeridoo Place, and knew I would find just what I was looking for, what I didn't expect was how difficult it would be to select just one!
Matt is an absolutly brilliant didg player with extensive knowledge of the instrument he is selling. Thank you Matt, I'm sure I'll be seeing you again.

28th October 2005 Thanks Matt for a great lesson, which made the journey worthwhile. You are excellent, patient tutor and very encouraging to players like me who are in a bit of a rut.
I came away with renewed confidence and enthusiam. Keep up the good work.
It won't be long before I'll be back for more.

25th Sept.05 I booked a one hour lesson and ended up with nearly 3. In all, almost 8 hours,
I played, I learnt and enjoyed every second of it.
Matt took time to go through with things from what where when who and how.
I went back home full of inspiration and enthusiasm.
I cannot recommend Matt & The Didgeridoo Place enough.
Thanks Matt

30th July 2005 Received my Didgeridoo well packaged and very quickly. I choose Didgeridoo Place after extensive searching on any website I could find. I couldn't have chosen a more suitable instrument. This one is just what I wanted. Thank you very much.

22 July 2005 Just got my first Yidaki from Matt at The Didjeridoo Place and have to say how pleased I am, I am really looking forward to learning how to play the Gapanbulu Yidaki the way it was meant to be played. Thanks to Matt for all the help and the time you took in helping me choose, playing all those sticks down the phone to me and putting up with the phonecalls and emails. cheers daz

30/05/05 Hi Matt, Just a quick letter from the 'Big Guy' to say what a wonderful piece of kit this dig is. I have just managed to get the circular breathing now and am enjoying every last min of it, can't say as the neighbours feel the same about my music or attempts at. Hope to some day get together with you at one of your meets, keep the good work up mate.

7th June 2004 Matt, Thank you for the inspiration to learn how to play this amazing instrument and of course the wonderful instrument itself. I still can't make it sound quite like you managed but it's a fantastic challenge that is very rewarding when it goes right. Also, thank you for sparking an interest in aboriginal culture and history. You have a fantastic knowledge, it is just a shame there wasn't the opportunity to pick up more from you. Maybe one day soon....
